Denis Leary and Ray Romano both appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present)
Plot
It tells the story of three very different families who are fighting to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show rated so low, but it made more sense after seeing many reviews explaining how they didn't get past the first episode.
I really like the cast and everyone's performances
The show is a mystery-filled fun that may not be for everyone. I personally found it too funny and entertaining, with a particular tone to Liz Feldman that I like.
All the different characters have their own subplots that form a tangled web of chaos that is gradually, though not fully, unraveled
I wasn't sold on Ray Romano at first due to my own biases (a life where I couldn't separate him from Everybody Loves Raymond), but that faded away pretty quickly. By the last episode I was pretty invested in the story, despite the fact that we resolved the major situation very early on.
I'm not mad about it, though
I would love to see more of this show and I really hope they get a second season… “One Hundred Years of Solitude”; it's one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
